The challenge.
Kerkyra Lines connects Corfu with Igoumenitsa and Paxos. Its passengers want to see routes and fares and book a ticket quickly, in their own language, and most of them do it from their phone.
The company needed a new website and, along with it, a ticketing system built around the way it operates.
What we did.
We designed and wrote from scratch a custom WordPress theme and an e-ticketing system built for the company's needs. Speed, reliability and fast ticket issuing shaped every technical choice.
Because more than 70% of tickets were issued from a phone, booking was designed for small screens first: choice of route and fare, passenger details and payment, in a few clear steps.
The result.
Since 2020, passengers have booked their tickets for Corfu, Igoumenitsa and Paxos online, in Greek, English and Italian.
