Terms of service.
The terms that apply to our clients: projects, hosting, maintenance, payments and use of my.lab.
Last updated: 23 October 202601Scope
These terms apply to every service web.lab provides (design and development of websites and e-shops, hosting, maintenance, support, white-label partnerships). Anything specifically set out in the written quote or contract takes precedence.
02Quote and engagement
Every project starts with a written quote describing the scope, price and timeline. The engagement is confirmed once you accept the quote and pay the deposit, where one applies.
03Client obligations
The client provides the content, access details and approvals needed in good time. Delays in providing them push the timeline back accordingly. The client guarantees that they have the right to use any material they give us.
04Out-of-scope changes
Requests not included in the original quote are invoiced separately, once you have approved them.
05Invoicing and payments
Invoices are issued electronically and are available in my.lab. They are paid by card (Viva Wallet) or bank transfer, within the deadline stated on each invoice.
If payment for hosting or maintenance services is late, we may suspend the service after a written reminder until it is paid in full.
06Hosting and maintenance
Hosting and maintenance services renew automatically for the same period, unless you tell us you want to cancel at least 30 days before they expire. We take regular backups, but we recommend that you keep your own as well.
07Intellectual property
Once paid in full, the client gains the right to use the final work for the purpose it was built for. Third-party software (WordPress, plugins, fonts) is governed by its own licenses. We reserve the right to show the work in our portfolio, unless agreed otherwise.
08my.lab account
my.lab gives you access to invoices, payments, support requests and project progress. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for anyone you authorize to have access.
09Processing data on your behalf
When we host or maintain your site, we process your own customers' data as a processor. This is covered by our Data processing agreement.
10Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in the last 12 months, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. We are not liable for interruptions caused by third-party providers or force majeure.
11Ending the partnership
Either party may end the partnership with 30 days' written notice. Services already provided are invoiced as normal. When it ends, we hand over your site's files and database.
12Governing law
Greek law applies. The courts of Corfu have jurisdiction over any dispute.
